The Hospice Alliance Northern Ireland brings together the region’s four charitable hospice providers:

Hospice Alliance members work together to strengthen and sustain hospice care across Northern Ireland. They are united by a shared commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care that enables people to experience the best possible end of life, shaped by dignity, choice and support for those closest to them.
The Alliance provides a collective voice for the sector, representing over 780 staff and 1200 volunteers and advocating for the essential role hospices play in delivering palliative and end-of-life care across Northern Ireland.

The Alliance was formed in 2024 to develop a coordinated response to the significant challenges facing hospice services and to advocate for a fair, long-term funding model that enables hospices to meet growing need.
Rather than working separately, member organisations have committed to working collectively, speaking with one voice and developing shared evidence and solutions to improve care for patients and families.
Each organisation brings unique expertise, services and local knowledge while sharing a common commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality palliative care.
